How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Elmhurst Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This past Tuesday we had called ahead to see if they were open because we had a paralyzed dying cat on our hands. They tell us to come right away, so we do, only for us to arrive and the lights are off! I called and called but no one answered. The poor cat was so uncomfortable and struggling to breathe! We had to take them to another animal hospital where they sadly passed away. This place is disgustingly unprofessional. I wouldn’t send my own worst enemy here.

Dr Suciu and his team are great. Being involved in helping community cats mean a lot of trips to the ER. I’ve brought a number of kitties to Elmhurst Animal Hospital that need urgent care. The vet and his team are gentle with the furries and always ready to educate and give more information. I always come out of the hospital feeling better and rest assured than when I came in. I recommend this place if your pet has urgent medical needs!

Brought my Ill dog for an emergency because he got poisoned, no one answer the door. Don't waste your time, hoping someone will open the door. Who in his right mind has the guts to say 24 hrs emergency when y'all not there?
