How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Seneca Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

If we could give them 5 “diamond stars” we would as the entire staff from reception, to assistants, to the Dr.’s are kind, considerate, compassionate, committed professionals. I have had repeatedly wonderful care, and experiences, at Seneca Animal Hospital throughout the lives of both of our dogs. Grateful for very reasonable pricing too for the amazing level of care over the years. This team bends over backwards to accommodate any requests and have always been great listeners besides advisers. Also when it comes to end of life, they have a wonderful protocol that relays comfort to both you and the animal - forever endeared to the business they have built and the quality of care they maintain with their treasured clientele human and furry💕

I had the opportunity to.take my sons older lab dog for an annual visit today. Dr was competent, communicative and the cost was reasonable. I was very happy.with the visit - quite possibly may bring my dog here going forward as I'm less enthused with my current vet.

First impressions matter Carli. On the phone your voice said you were sick of people. Your answer was curt that you werent taking new clients (even for a rat euthanasia????) And you even hung up quickly as you said thank you. Yikes.

Love them here! I've been taking my dogs here for over a decade now. They've been more open minded than most vets when discussing different breed specific health concerns we've dealt with. They've been so great with my dogs chronic health issues, including an anaphalactic dog & a senior, just living his best years! The staff is kind, caring & will take the time to discuss & explain things thoroughly. I highly recommend them! 🥰🐾💯💜

My family has been doing business with Seneca Animal Hospital for years but now when help is needed I/my cat is thrown to the curb. I was told they will not see my cat because he has not been seen in over 3 years. I never received a discharge letter or anything in the mail stating a policy change. This is very poor business and they should take the Hospital part off thier name if they can't take care of pets that are or were thier patients. Don't go here.....
