I hit a bunny at 9pm on a Saturday night. I left a message and they immediately called me back. There was nothing to be done, in this particular incident, but the man on the other line was very kind. I couldn’t believe I reached someone. And it made me feel so good to know that these people are out there waiting to help.

A disabled dog I didn't recognize came up my driveway and into my garage. We have allergies, so I knew I had to convince her to go. She ran up and down the street looking confused. I called animal control because I didn't want her to get hit by a car. A very lovely lady answered the phone and came right over. She found the dog and the owner. The dog is blind and deaf. I didn't want the owner to get in trouble, she had no tags. Owner was very appreciative, dog was safe. Thanks to that caring lady who came to our rescue!❤️

Wish they had someone available after hours. I've ran I to multiple animal related emergencies out on the road at night,( i.e. injured dog found on the street wandering at 3am). Need a 24hr hotline. Because the Sheriff had no idea what to even tell me or how to help me.

If I could give 0 I most definitely would. Whatever woman I talked to asked me “why don’t you do something?” As an animal lover I wouldn’t be able to fathom saying that to someone crying and pleading for help with an animal.
