The absolute best. They have the most compassionate, professional, and experienced staff in every capacity - veterinarians, vet techs, and front reception. Our little guy is not the easiest patient, and I always feel secure knowing that he will get the absolute highest quality care at Bayport Vet. Most importantly, he will continue to go back and feel comfortable with the staff because they are truly in this work for the animals. Thanks!

Our appointment with Dr. Wheat wasn’t rushed she spent a lot of time explaining what she could do to make Ginger comfortable. Dr. Wheat even said she couldn’t cure Ginger’s allergies but they would be managed. She went through all the steps that needed to happen to heal her skin and address her allergies. Dr. Wheat is the third veterinarian (including a dermatologist) that Ginger has been to in almost 5 years. In all that time and a number of different medications the itching has never completely stopped she even had Cytopoint injections 2 times and kept scratching throughout. It’s been 4 days since her appointment and she scratched 1 time for maybe 30 seconds. She’s on meds, her food was changed her skin has a chance to heal and she has an appointment for a bath tomorrow. I’m hopeful that this is just the beginning of a happy itch free life for Ginger. I even received a call today asking how Ginger is doing, I’m thrilled to say she’s doing remarkably well, thanks to Dr. Wheat and her very caring staff.

We LOVE Dr. Wheat and the team at Bayport. We’ve been taking our dogs to them since 2016, and stayed with them even when we moved a little further away. They are great with our 2 dogs, who can be very difficult at times. They are both in great health at 12 years old, thanks to Dr. Wheat and her team!
