This is being generous. Tahoe is the absolute worst if you have an animal emergency and this animal hospital amplified that sentiment. We had an emergency and they literally said they could not take our pet because we were not a patient with them. Such compassion. I have never dealt with a place that would not take an emergency situation because someone was not a patient. Take that how you will as it was exactly how things went. If a veterinarian will do that, how much do they really care about your animal? Anyone who thinks actions like this is normal is no better. It is not and should not be considered so.

Carl is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever known. He not only treats each creature he meets with love & compassion but the human escorts of these creatures with kindness & compassion too. You can’t go wrong. ❤️🐛🦋

Dr. Kelly is a gift from god. He is the best vet in the country. He truly cares about everyone of his patients. Sometimes he gets busy with emergencies and is a sole practitioner so sometimes patients is required. If you truly love your pet this is the only place you should go.
