How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Trailwood Cat Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Almost didn't want to share how good this place is. Came here since the other cat hospitals weren't accepting new patients but we lucked out with Dr Anna and her staff! There's places for your cat to roam, scratch, and bird watch in your exam room. The doctor will actually sit down and explain things and while I'm SURE she's busy, I did not feel rushed or like she was hurrying to get to the next patient. (Definitely had previous vet's try and diagnose at lightning speed and not help at all. Not here though). My Lula has allergies and an angry eye she scratched. Dr Anna did a dye test to see if it was something more sinister than allergies and prescribed her a new eye drop and offered a new food sample. I was expecting the bill to be astronomical since it's specialty to cats, and how boutique and home-y it feels, but it was actually comparable to our previous clinic. We'll be back

I am extremely happy I found Trailwood cat hospital for my 17 year fur baby. My cat is very picky and was instantly calmed while in the office which never happens. Dr. Anne was very down to earth and super kind. Her staff was also the kindest and caring nurses. I highly recommend to anyone with a cat in need! Cleo and I thank you and your staff Dr. Anne!

Dr. Anna & her staff are awesome! They truly care about your pets wellbeing & making sure that they have the best experience/care possible. Their follow up is excellent as well, I have always rec'd a call with updates as soon as the lab reports are available. There are closer Cat Hospitals to me but the 30min. plus drive is well worth it to me.

They were awesome with my cat Marley. I inherited him from my brother. He was a part time outdoor cat in CO and had been attacked by something. When he came to me, he had open wounds, partially healing wounds, an infection. They did surgery and kept him a few days until the drain was out. They totally understood my fear of blood and yuck. They treated him like family. Totally recommend and will be back.

I found Trailwood hospital and will never take my cats Ian and Dusty anywhere else! Dr. Daffara, Amanda and the rest of the staff have been nothing but exceptional and caring to both my cats and me. I made the mistake of taking Ian to a closer vet for an emergency and learned the hard way (1,100.00 later) that Dr Daffara should be my cats' only vet. The 1100.00 vet (Craig Rd) couldn't figure it out, but TCH did for waaay less! Thank you guys. As long as Ian, Dusty and I live here, you're our only vet!😻😻
