How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cactus Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This is our second time bringing different dogs to this hospital. The nurses are friendly and kind to our fur baby. Especially doctor, she explained details on everything we asked and gave us the best solutions for our babies. We are really satisfied with this hospital. The environment is great and the price is reasonable as well.

Visiting Cactus Pet Hospital in Las Vegas has been nothing short of wonderful for my furry family member. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that this place is special. The team at Cactus Pet Hospital is not just professional; they’re caring, attentive, and, frankly, fun! It’s a place filled with genuine animal lovers who treat every pet like their own. My cat, usually skittish about vet visits, seems to love it here. Perhaps it’s the soothing environment or the friendly staff who know just how to put her at ease. Their handling and care go beyond just medical needs; they ensure he’s comfortable, calm, and even entertained throughout our visits. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained, which speaks volumes about their commitment to the animals’ health and well-being. They are equipped with modern technology that ensures your pet gets the best treatment available. But what really sets them apart is the palpable warmth and joy they bring to their work – it’s a place where pets are not just treated well, but celebrated. While it’s already a haven for pets, the addition of a boarding facility would make Cactus Pet Hospital the perfect all-in-one spot for pet care in Las Vegas. It’s the only thing missing from making this fantastic place a true heaven on earth for animals. In summary, if you’re seeking a veterinary clinic that offers not just outstanding medical care but also a loving and fun environment for your pet, Cactus Pet Hospital in Las Vegas is the place to go. Sylvester and I cannot recommend them enough!

I've been to several vets in Vegas over the years and Cactus Pet Hospital has been the best experience hands down. The waiting area and exam rooms are very clean & designed for comfort with nice soft pet friendly couches and padded rugs. It's unlike any other clinic I've seen. The staff and nurses are very friendly and no long waits for your appointment. I brought my 11 year old dog in with a limp and she was diagnosed with a torn ACL and would require surgery. Dr. Paulino was very thorough and informative. He answered all of our questions and was very transparent about the cost. There were no surprise costs along the way. Dr. Kerry Bilicki performed the surgery and her work was fantastic! It was a same day surgery so no overnight stay. Dropped her off in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon. There were a few appointments after the surgery, one to get staples out and another X-ray appointment at 8 weeks to see how she was healing. After 8 weeks of recovery our 11 year old dog is a puppy again and walking perfectly. She's happy, energetic and playful. They also followed up with several phone calls throughout the last few months to see how things were going & to answer any questions or concerns. The entire experience was great from start to finish and I can't say enough good things about this place. We have definitely found our new vet! If you've had bad vet experiences in the past, check out Cactus Pet Hospital, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for taking such good care of our Dallas! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m super impressed with this vet. It’s extremely clean and decorated beautifully. The staff are friendly and you can tell they really care about the pets and families. I had to bring my new sick puppy in and they were extremely thorough and informative. I’ve been to a few different vets over the years, but this place far exceeded my expectations. I’m glad we found them for our furry baby!

We had a wonderful experience recently at Cactus Vet Hospital! We were traveling through with work for a few months and ran into problems finding a vet to monitor our little dogs health condition, IMTP. After a VERY bad experience with another vet, I called and called many other vets with not much success and was beginning to lose hope, when I finally called Cactus Vet Hospital and Nurse Natasha answered the phone! I CANNOT say enough good things about Nurse Natasha! She was just an absolute Angel to us! She immediately got us in to see Dr Paulino ASAP who not only understood our dog's immune mediated condition well, but who was also very kind and compassionate to our little dog who is so afraid of the vet and isn't the most cooperative patient and to me personally. They even did as much as they possible could right in the room with me which was also less stressful for my little dog, which we both so appreciated. In fact, every member of this staff did everything they possibly could to make our visits as stress free as possible. The other vet Dr Angela was also very kind and compassionate and even though we only saw her the one time I could tell she was also very patient and knowledgeable. These folks really do listen to you and make sure they address all of your concerns. ALL of THIS is SUCH a RARE thing to find at a vet office these days! Believe me, we travel and we see a lot of vets due to our little dogs condition and we've had some VERY BAD EXPERIENCES! This one, however, was something entirely different. Honestly, If I could give them 10 stars I would!! If you're looking for a genuinely kind, compassionate vet who actually cares about your pets and you, look no further, you've found them! Thanks Again to Nurse Natasha, Dr Paulino, Dr Angela and EVERYONE at Cactus Vet Hospital for everything! And If we're ever back through your area, we will definitely come to see you all again! :)
