How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Banfield Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My review may not be enough to thank the staff inside Banfield Hospital at Arroyo Crossing- Southwest as well as our previous area- at North Durango. We have been bringing our pets to Banfield for 14 + years. My pets are well taken care of, in emergencies, they are accommodating and find times to squeezed my pets in. When I had to let go of my oldest dog, they took her aligning with our schedule. Shout out to Dr Sultan as well as the nurse who were very reassuring and supportive of giving us all the time being with our pet for the time. I trust them to care for my remaining dog and even future pets that I will have.

My dog had an urgent medical issue. I had never been to Banfield Pet Hospital. I called and was given an appt for the following morning. The staff were courteous and professional. I left my dog and the vet called after their evaluation. After I picked up my pet, I received a follow up call the next day. I was very happy with the service and would recommend Banfield for your pets care.

Hello! Although we Love and are loyal to our Dr Sultan for both babies. One young and one 10 years young ;). I got to shout out Dr Jack Gamble!! He’s amazing !! Super thorough and I love how he takes the time to break everything down and explains diagnosis and why things are, cuz that’s totally how my mind works!! He was honest personable and concise ! Me being a pet professional myself it’s hard for me to relinquish control and out of momma bear mode. Since both my animals are service trained and are my pride and joy . But he really helped my anxious self and put my mind and worries to rest. I hope we see him around town or there at that location again. I’ll always make sure my fur babies see Dr sultan or Dr gamble!! Couldn’t ask for better ! Thanks Dr Gamble for all you did today in a short notice for my little guy. Kudos!!

They're not veterinarian, just salespeople of tests. not knowledge at all. I took my cat for a second opinion and how is possible that 3 Doctors Sultan, Weisdorf and Anderson. Not be able to figure out a simple diagnostic like. My cat has an allergic reaction to two injections of Antibiotics of 14 days. Dr. Sultan, instead to tell me the truth. My cat can not survive, she play the Linfoma game, torturing my cat with a biopsy, ofcourse anything. Dr. Weisdorf gave him more antibiotics. The poison was killing him. And that my friend is ANIMAL CRUELTY! 6 weeks of suffering, pain, desperation, frustration of don't know what to do because is a mystery they don't know what is killing the cat. I am the one who discovered it, study and research. It's call CANCER AFTER INJECTION. bunch of ignorants. The previous Veterinarian kill my cat but you making him suffer just for MONEY.

Wouldn't recommend. Have had issues here on a couple occasions. This last "visit" I had the rudest person assisting with check-in. I will drive a little out of the way to go to a different location.
