How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Skyline Pet Hospital
Preventive care

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Wow! This place is excellent. We are traveling through the area and needed a check up for our cat due to a medication that she is on. The doctor was very thorough and helpful and answered all of our questions. Reasonably priced for the area. Nice facility. Parking on the side of the building. Would highly recommend!

***Update: it's been a little over a month since Piper's emergency, and continuing Dr. Fisk's treatment, she's back to herself on the regular. No issues getting her to take her medicine, and she's doing very well. Thank you Skyline Pet Hospital!!*** I've had two weekend emergencies with separate pets and have had to rush here outside of our normal clinic. Both times the doctors treated our pets, and us as owners with compassion and respect. My ferret suddenly started having seizures for the first time and our exotic vet was not open. We got her to Skyline from Dayton, and Dr. Fisk and his assistants were able to stabilize her after some time, and keep her comfortable, also diagnosing and giving us proper medication and information to keep her healthy. It's been almost 2 days after this, and our ferret has recovered and is responding well to the treatment plan. We appreciate Skyline deeply for their access for the community in times of absolute need, and we are always met with kindness and compassion when we do need it. Thank you so much for saving her

My cat, Jaxx, injured his leg several days ago. My wife and I quarantined him in our bedroom away from our other pets in hopes he would heal on his own. He appeared to be healing quickly; he had energy, never lost his appetite, and started jumping up on the countertops, etc. But something about his limp continued to worry me. His limp persisted. I began to think that maybe he broke or dislocated his leg or something else serious. I contacted Skyline Pet Hospital, and their amazing staff were able to get Jaxx into an exam room within a few hours. The vet tech and doctor were courteous, welcoming to me and treated Jaxx with compassion and respect. I watched as the doctor examined Jaxx from nose to tippy tail. Turns out, nothing broken or serious. Sounds like he may have misjudged a jump and took a nasty tumble. Jaxx now has a round of anti-inflammatories and antibiotics to get through over the next few days and should be good to go! I was worried that x-rays and other potential expenses would be a financial hit to the family. It's jump one of those things that comes with be a pet owner. I feel Skyline and their staff took very good care of Jaxx and I. I will be bringing my other pets to Skyline in the future. They earned my trust. September 11, 2025

well let me start off by saying i had been a long time customer of Sierra veterinary hospital. i used to really love the care my pets received when Gary used to own it. After he retired it went down hill, overpriced, horrible service, i didn't feel good about taking my loved pets there anymore. Thank goodness I stumbled upon skyline. How refreshing it is. From the staff, to Dr. Fisk. vet care is always going to be pricey, but when it comes to my fur babies i feel they care and are treated like family. Im so pleased i decided to make the switch, i only wish i did it sooner. If you are looking for friendly, competent , compassionate care, give em a try, plus they are opened Saturday which works with my schedule as well.

Absolutely the best experience of any veterinary hospital we've ever used. The staff are nice, apathetic, and have common sense. Dr. Fisk is a wonderful blessing for us and our pets. Very intelligent and able to use the lost skill of common sense 👏. Dr. Fisk gave us a thorough explanation and plan for our cat. We trust all of the staff we dealt with completely. We also had the pleasure of being visited by the owner while we were in the exam room. He seems very sincere in his mission to provide a great experience.
