Sunday night I came upon two lost dogs In my neighborhood. It was obvious they were not long time strays. They were however tired and seemingly a little panicked,overheated. I arranged overnight housing with a caring neighbor as my dog is a one dog only house,lol. Early this morning Johanna(sp?) went out of her way to help during the microchip scan. The dogs were later that morning reunited with the owner. I'm reasonably sure this is reflective of the material atmosphere,attitude and approach of this clinic. Caregivers that do,not talk.

I am beyond grateful to have met Dr. Peterson during one of the most challenging times for our family. Our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was diagnosed with a brain tumor that tragically caused a hole in her eye due to the pressure. Despite the grim prognosis, our sweet furbaby remained a joyful and spirited girl, and Dr. Peterson saw and appreciated her resilience just as we did. In a gesture that we will never forget, Dr. Peterson did not charge us for our last appointment. This act of kindness was incredibly helpful for our finances after spending so much on our furbaby’s care. It was a testament to her genuine care for both her patients and their families. Dr. Peterson is not just an exceptional ophthalmologist; she is a remarkable human being. Her compassion, kindness, and dedication to her patients and their families have made an indelible mark on our hearts. We cannot thank her enough for the support and care he provided during such a difficult time. If you are looking for a veterinarian-ophthalmologist who truly cares, Dr. Peterson is the one to see.

Joanne is the most heartless woman I have dealt with. My dog is dead and I am paying monthly for the balance over $1000 for my dead dog. I can only make small payment. Was 1 day late and sent to collections. I was told by Joanne that I was better off dealing with collections cause then I could settle even if it messes my credit up. Instead of me making small payments to them and willing to pay what I owe. VCA would rather send me to collections for my dead dog then take small payments. How inhumane can you be!!

Great example of business interests towering high above genuine pet care- $3,400 for a CT. I got a referral for some imaging work, a CT, because my pet has breathing difficulties. I live 2,5h away. After my initial phone call I felt distrustful as there seemed no actual consideration for the pets well being in their scheduling and handling of circumstances. Seemingly the new norm since Covid brought about a boom in the vet industry- resulting in loss of quality.. if there ever was any at this place. When I later looked at the reviews I felt assured of my impression. And the clinic's response to their reviews confirms the lack of self reflection- mostly a display of theatrical care. Somebody is milking the cow.

Astonishing. My dog was referred for possible bladder cancer, and on the day of my first visit, they not only examined him and discussed the possibilities, but proceeded with a CT scan and biopsy, followed by a cystoscopy and biopsy, both confirming bladder cancer, and identifying an unrelated subcutaneous cancer. The consultant was extremely knowledgeable, and both she and every single member of the staff that I dealt with were kind, courteous, and in no hurry. VERY impressive.
