How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Northwest Animal Clinic & Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I love how nice this place is. It makes me feel safe bringing my dog to them!! My dog loves going to this vet too, everyone is really friendly with her and they give her treats ❤️

Had to get the ol' boy snipped. Better him than me. They did a great job with my high energy breed and provided helpful advice for training him.

Our pup had extensive dental surgery. Everyone was very nice to us. Surgery went well and pup stayed overnight for IV meds and observation. When we came to get him the staff who worked on him came out from the back and chatted with us for a while. The facility is bright, clean and decorated nicely.

I am disappointed and disgusted!! I know money is important but when you want to charge me more than triple what the emergency vet wanted to charge me, I am appalled! The emergency clinic said “check with your family vet, they should be able to help for a fraction of the price” this is ridiculous! I have a dog with an eye hanging out of her head and you won’t see her unless I have over 3000.00 ! You all are horrible! I wish I had never taken my dog there! I would advise anyone thinking of taking their dog there to do some research! Money is NOT the driving force for every vet!!! Shame on you!!!!!!

I would not take my pets anywhere else! They are always fantastic with my pets and diligent. They do take lunch from 12-2 so be prepared to work around that. They know my name here. They are patient, understanding, and make the place feel comfortable.
