We brought in our mini Golden Doodle for a sore on the bottom of his paw. We were seen promptly. Angus's paw was cleaned and we were given appropriate meds. They have always been so caring and very attentive to our pets. Dr. Michael and his wonderful staff are incredible people! They always take the best care of Angus. We leave with peace of mind! Thank you 😊

I had to put my 19 year old cat Maxie down due to kidney and severe thyroid issues. Everyone at Priority Vets was so compassionate and caring. They were so gentle with Maxie and let me spend as much time with him as I needed. It is a terrible ordeal to go through, but their understanding and compassion helped tremendously. I sincerely want to express my thanks and gratitude to them for everyrhing they did for Maxie and me.

I can not say enough about the Toms River location. I had brought my cat in to be checked and had to ultimately put him down. They were the most compassionate group of people and made his final moments comfortable. They gave us space and time to say our goodbyes. Dr C was so compassionate in giving us the news that there really wasn’t much we could do. Thank you all!

Would not recommend. Most of the staff were very friendly but they are incredibly slow. We were there with our pet for over six hours. When we first arrived, it took 15 minutes for someone to come and do intake. Then after triage, it took over an hour to get the estimate for the procedure they needed to do for diagnostics. After waiting for a long time, asked what was going on. Turns out there was another procedure they were going to do that wasn’t fully explained. When they started this procedure, I looked into the the window into the back. 2/3 of the staff was standing and watching the procedure, not doing other work. Three people watching the vet and a tech work while four rooms were filled with no progress. Saw that occur several times. Not much seemed to get done quickly. When I asked for more details of what they were doing to our pet, no one knew and the one woman was a little rude as if how dare I ask. In fact, while we were there two other groups of people had come in with a pets. It was two hours before a doctor went in to talk to one of them and by time we left, the second left after have not been seen and they didn’t even realize it after over an hour of being in the room alone. Another room was told that they may have to put their animal down and then they left. Vet didn’t not go back in for 20 minutes. Definitely not cheap either. Would not recommend and if I had to do over again, I would have driven up to Garden State. If you are in need of urgent care, plan to be there for a loooooooong time.

The staff here was so compassionate and kind while we had to say goodbye to our beloved Tobi. We weren’t rushed, or forced to do anything. We knew it was his time because of how sick and in pain he was. He gave us an amazing 12-1/2 years & the staff was so caring and calm as we tried our hardest to even utter full sentences. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you all for taking good care of my fur baby. 🌈💔
