How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Queen City Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This dedicated owner and staff are committed to excellent animal care and reasonable prices. They are professional and kind, and their office is well run, always clean, and welcoming. So grateful that they are here! Update: after several years of great care, we had to put our pet down. The doctor and staff handled that with incredible sensitivity. An excellent and caring practice.

It's hard to find a veteranary office like Queen City Animal Hospital. They have been wonderful from day one, even through the pandemic and more. They have treated our bernese mountain dog (yes, a quite large dog) with love and respect every time. They've done everything for him since birth (now 3 years old) and every time we had a procedure, question, or concern, they did everything they could to take care of him. Even when he had meningitis, something that is very hard to determine and medicate for, they laid out our options without bias and let us make our decision, giving their personal opinions only if we asked for them. That is a quality I can't undervalue because many will try to get you to overspend on things. Queen City is far from that. I'd highly recommend them if you are looking for simply the best care for your pet!
