Until the "office manager's" delivery of poor, hateful attitude to outright bizarre lies regarding my account, my first experiences at Holstein had been wonderful, the Dr.'s were lovely to my pets and the prices were fair. After about a year of being a regular client and paying my bills in full I experienced a bout of financial hardship right around the same time my dogs teeth needed help. I was quoted ~$300, when the procedure finished I received a bill for over $500. I paid what I could and we made arrangements. As financial hardships go the payments became harder to keep up. It was at this point the office began treating me as if I hadn't been a good paying client before and I began receiving nasty attitude and complete misinformation regarding late fees from Sadie ("office manager") over the phone. After lying about the amount of the late fees she refused to work with me in any way and turned my account to collection. Every interaction after this turned uglier from Sadie. I called to ask for my pets' files to which she first said that my bill needs to be paid then she *lied* again saying the files (the medical files??) were also sent to collections. After contacting the collection agency they were only sent an invoice. What is to be gained from lies by this "office manager"? After an argument in the office I phoned the owner who informed me that as soon as my balance is paid I can bring my pets back. I paid it within a few months. Following this I made 3-4 phone calls over a year trying to reach the owner, Schrum, who never returned my calls until just today. She informed me that paying through a collection agency is not paying in full? Lol Since when? She continued to say that my behavior was inappropriate and that I shouldn't come back at all. So the office manager's lies weren't inappropriate at all? Completely professional, okay. And chalk up one more Holstein Vet Clinic lie from Dr. Schrum herself flip-flopping from "yeah you can come back" to "don't come back" My Holstein experience went from feeling like a respected client to being treated like I'm subhuman. I will never understand what this facility gained by consistent and flagrant lies.

Dr. Krista Holstein is our primary veterinarian. She is extremely knowledgable. She is responsive when we have questions. She cares for our dogs like they are her own. She is mindful of cost and resources. The office staff is also very helpful and reliable. They are always a pleasure to work with. Couldn't recommend more highly!

We were new in town and came to see them for end of life care. We will always appreciate them. They made a painful situation easier, and did little things to help us through. It was as graceful of a process as it could be. If we ever get another dog, we will absolutely bring it to Holstein for care. Thank you Dr. Krista and staff.

A great place to take your animal for care. I took in 3 calves and Dr. Krista took the time to treat them in my trailer--not an easy task. Gave them shots for pink eye and then answered all the questions I had regarding their future well being. I look forward to having her take care of my small herd of cattle!!!!!

I brought my dog Munchie to Dr Krista. Munchie does not like coming to the vet. She made it so easy for us to bring him. It was awesome experience for us. Don't know what Munchie thought about it. But he wasn't feeling any pain when he left. Thanks Krista and everyone else that helped us.
