I’ve been taking my pets to Balsam Animal Hospital since 1992. They’re the best! Paul is a great veterinarian and the staff are all very helpful, courteous and professional.

I could not speak more highly of Dr.Kern and his staff. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Balsam Animal Hospital. They have gone above and beyond for our dog, multiple times. They saved our youngest dogs life with emergency bowel surgery, when the emergency vet gave us an absolutely outrageous quote. The staff stayed over their routine work hours to make the surgery happen for us, and kept us in the loop the whole time. Fisher would not be here without them! They care about the animals, and want to provide families with affordable, and quality care. Having them as our veterinary office gives us a peace of mind, knowing we have them as our vet if something were to happen.

Loved this vet. New puppy exam, and .although he was running behind, he took the appropriate time. It has been YEARS since we had a puppy, so the refresher reminders were so helpful. PLUS reasonably priced!!!! Vet himself was friendly and treated my puppy well during the exam! Lost one star as I had to wait 40 minutes!

My dog needed some treatment for an illness and I called to get an appointment in and they squeezed me in. I waited a little bit but it’s rather expected. The kindness the staff showed to me and my dog was touching. The doctor showed so much care for my dog and didn’t try to throw in any other diagnosis. I decided that day that Balsam will be her vet from now on. Even recommended them to my sister. I’ll be back for her updated vaccinations.

I feel I place the care of my babies Levi and Lexi in the best hands when I take them to Dr. Kerns. He is the most knowledgeable and caring vet. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Balsam Road Animal Hospital.
