Riley loved his visit, the techs and the veterinarian! The love they have for animals was so genuine that Riley was relaxed immediately! The exam was from head to toe. Ears to tail. The veterinarian listened! Yes, God bless her, she heard us! I know that Riley is healthy and cared for thanks to her. The clinic was spotless. Clean and actually pretty. Not clinical, although you could see the technical impact within the clinic. Well thought out use of available space. Excellent! 10+ rating! Thank you all!

Grateful to find Dr. Welsh at her new location! She knows my 3 cats well and has helped me manage the idiosyncrasies of each of them! Well checks are in the books for 2025. Dr. Welsh is especially great with geriatric cats. My former cat Grace lived about an extra 1.5 years under her care. My 3 foster fails from the shelter have a long life ahead at 8 years old.

I brought Athena for her very first vet visit and could not be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and made sure both she and I felt comfortable. The waiting area was clean and calm. The vet made sure everything was explained clearly to me, and all of my questions were answered with patience and kindness. I really appreciated the gentle approach—they made what could’ve been a stressful first visit such a positive one.

We are new to the Waxhaw area and were referred to Dr Welsh by a friend. We had our first appointment today with our little Yorkie and we were highly impressed by the personal care and depth of skill that Dr Welsh brings to her patient relationships. We knew tight away that we were in exceptional hands, and we are very thankful for the referral that brought us together. Dr Welsh is a very good listener, as well as a clear communicator, and it is obvious how deeply she feels about the pets that are under her care.

We absolutely LOVE City Vet!!!! Dr. Welsh is the best! She has been our vet for 22 years and we trust her completely. We have two rescue dogs with very different needs and she gives us top notch care are support for both of them.
