How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Stony Point Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Been going here for years. It they are honest and don't over charge like other vets. I can call and get information about flea or tick medicine to use or ask questions. I love the hometown feel of this vet. It's family friendly and they are even open on Saturday.

I have been taking all my pets to this clinic though the years.. the establishment has really gone downhill..very nasty place..had labs done in office and being an RN saw some labs were in a dangerous range was told the machine was reading incorrectly.. vet told me “see dog is old has gray hair”. Put on a high dosage arthritis med. took pet to angel care in Statesville X-ray negative for arthritis. And did a senior panel lab all were normal. Please don’t take your pet to Stony Point animal clinic!!

Very kind, and courteous staff. The doctor was very thorough, and seemed to be more concerned with my dog's welfare than the money I was giving her. She didn't order any unnecessary tests, and she even had a laid back manner. This is our vet from now until forever!

Super nice and caring staff and Doctors! Also very helpful and fast service! They have saved two of my kitties lives in the past year and was even helpful with payments on my second cat to save her life a couple weeks ago when I didn't have the full amount and her sickness was an emergency and fit me in today to fix an open stitch! And to the Dr. who saw Sissy my cat & Me today (10-25-2022)and was so sensitive towards her pain and so nice and truly caring, Me (Cassandra Wilcox) and Sissy and Jojo who was saved last December Thank you all! And of course Dr Cooper who did both surgeries and gave me the payment plan option for her surgery when I was going to be short thank you a million times! She's so very kind and caring and great at her job! All good people here so not seeing why there's any negative reviews 🤥🤭 Thanks so much again & we'll see you on Halloween 🎃😺

Do not take your pets there to be put to sleep. Carrying baby around on hip. Put shot in then just walk off. For the final shot instead of iv just shoved it in the vein. No talking us through anything. Very unprofessional at best. Has been a patient there 8+ yrs.
