Dr Gandys animal hospital is an asset to the Rockingham community his staff are knowledgeable,kind and always ready. To go the extra mile Dr Souder is a experienced and caring veterinarian and I'm glad he's there for our pets!!!

My old dog was injured badly by another animal and needed surgery. They did a great job and helped her.. The bill was high but I am overall satisfied with the vet and the friendly staff. And they always kept me informed of my dogs condition..

Decent service and care, average pricing. Update 8/12/23. Can no longer recommend. Dr has a massive attitude problem and was caught roughing up my 1 year old GSD .

The worst clinic. I have taken not one but two dogs to see him and he didn’t show any sympathy. I lost my first dog first dog blue a few days after the visit after he just handed me a paper pouch of pills and stated “ come back if he gets worse “. My second dog was there for a leg injury but I knew something else’s was wrong. I then informed gandy that my dog had stopped eating and was drooling from the mouth he cut me off mid sentence and said “ if your leg was hurting you wouldn’t want to eat either “ I became furious and told him that it was a leg injury not a toothache I later found out my dog had parvo. I met Dr. Souder a couple years ago when my cat had been in a fight and needed medical attention...Dr. S is not your typical vet. He doesn’t sugar coat things or make you think things are better than what they are, and I APPRECIATE that! He is super smart! I just took my dog to him after she had been severely injured...he knew what had happened to her just by looking at her, and was right. Same with my cat. He handled her with care and affection. He kept me informed the entire time she was there and was more than fair with the costs to get her on the way to being healed. Reading some of the other reviews is really sad because Dr S is such a good doctor and he loves these animals but he is a no nonsense type of doctor. I would much rather have that and proper care than not. I would highly recommend him!
