I called about boarding my pups there today, and was greeted on the phone by someone who sounded like they couldn’t care less about helping customers or being professional. I asked if they had availability and gave my dog’s weight and was interrupted with “we’re not even doing that.” I called back, was greeted by the same employee, with the same unprofessional energy, and let them know that they weren’t being appropriate and was hung up on. Nope.

Very nice staff and vet, but facility needs updating. I was surprised at the lack of technology and record keeping. No computer or electronic records kept, no filing my animal's previous records that I brought to the appointment, no itemized receipt given. Just not what I was looking for in a vet.

I mainly felt the need to respond to the review left by Eric Chalk. Dr. Mauldin is a wonderful vet. He is the best vet I have ever taken my pets to. If you take the time to get to know him, he is very personable. He employees a receptionist who has a small disability. She does not have a weird attitude. Please reconsider your rating & post.

I came here to get my cat spayed and was told the shots given to her at tractor supply “did not count” that I had to have them done at the vet and was EXTREMELY rude about it. I tried to be respectful when simply asking if it was safe to double vaccinate my kitten. I was yelled at in front of his other customers. The vet was a nasty , unprofessional bitter old man therefor I will not be wasting my time or money at this vet. This was my FIRST visit and in the first 10 minutes I knew I couldn’t trust someone like that with my animal. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO TAKE YOUR PETS

All of my pets have been treated here, for years! Best Animal Hospital, in Rockingham County! *Update* This wonderful establishment has been closed, recently, as Dr. Mauldin has retired. After many years of service, he will truly be missed.
