How to Save on Veterinary Costs at First Flight Veterinary Hospital & Mobile Services

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I cannot say enough about the staff at First Flight. They truly care about our fur babies. My dog has issues with enclosed spaces and other dogs so they have arranged it so his treatment is done outside. This has taken so much stress off my pup and consequently myself. Thank you Dr Jim for arranging this and caring for Dakota. The entire staff is incredible. Always polite and professional. A special shout out to Julie who is so good with Dakota and has worked with him the last few appointments. Again thank you all for all you do.

Everyone at First Flight makes you feel like family the minute you walk in the door. My cats love and trust every one of them. Not to mention the love and care they provide to all my babies, which is the best.

Dr Jess and her team are the BEST!! They care for my fur babies as if they were their own. They combine a state of the art facility with the care and experience each of us are in search of. I highly recommend this practice!!

We recently moved to the area and were nervous about finding a new vet. We brought our cat Steve in for an exam and could not be happier with our choice. Dr. Rook was amazing as well as the other staff. Highly recommend!

Our precious 5 month old puppy, Georgie has had a bit of a rough start off. FFVet has been caring, patient, professional and solving her 'issues'. The entire staff is not only knowledgeable but a welcomed breath of fresh air in today's world. Highly recommend!
