How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Family Pet Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Experience
Ask whether the clinic has experience treating your specific type of pet, since care can vary between dogs, cats, and pocket pets.
Emergency Care Procedures

Communication Preferences
Ask how the clinic communicates with pet parents, including updates, test results, and follow up questions.
Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.
Facility Tour

I highly recommend Dr. Foley and her amazing team for all of your pet’s needs. She is seeing 2/3 of my dogs and I will be switching the third one as soon as he is due for his next check up. Everyone here is so friendly, helpful, and informative. I’m happy to have found them!

We added a new member to the family and needed somewhere to get him all checked out. This place exceeded my expectations and the customer service was the best I have had. They were all very nice and treated my puppy son with great care. You can tell people who love what they do and they are very good at it. I was given helpful suggestions and left feeling really happy that he was in good hands going forward. Thank you Dr. Foley, you and your team really made our day. We will be back!!!

Been going there for about 2 years (maybe 3 visits total) with no issues. Friendly doctor. But then they screwed me. So this poor rating was my only recourse. ——————— UPDATE TO DEFINE “SCREWED ME” … All I know is, if this is how you treat your customers, I’m glad I hadn’t been with your practice for very long. TO FUTURE FAMILIES w/ PETS CONSIDERING USING THIS VET … Don’t.

I love the Animal Hospital of Fayetteville. I have had two great Danes get gastropexy and ear cropping here. They are always busy, but they take good care of the pups.
