How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Clemmons Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Have been going here for 7 yrs with my dog. We adopted a new cat and he stopped eating. This practice couldn't work me in for 2 weeks. Another vet took him, and the cat has gone there ever since. My dog has had issues with her ACL and was diagnosed with bone cancer on Monday. The suggested treatment was amputation. I needed a second opinion given the impact and my dogs other issues. The Clemmons vet would not share the records with the other vet, they would just answer the phone and put the other office on hold. If the second opinion would have been the same we would have returned for the already scheduled surgery. I am sad to say, it is a very aggressive form of cancer. Clemmons vet staff could of cared less when my husband called. The doctors always seemed nice, but by allowing their office staff to be so unprofessional they actually endorse it. Save yourself the heartbreak. You deserve an office where the office staff cares, it really makes a difference to have an office that is there for you.

We love Clemmons veterinarian Clinic! My dog Arya is crazy when she sees other dogs but the employees are patient with her. I take Arya and Nuggie to this vet.

The Dr. and entire staff are excellent. Superb at what they do and very friendly and compassionate every time we are there. They are very busy most of the time, but that comes with being that good.

The Vets themselves have been great. The front staff could use improvement for efficiencies and communication. It’s slow as molasses getting checked in and out- which can be difficult while managing furry friends! The vets have been great though. Double check your Rx’s though- multiple times my family members have picked up meds that have been inaccurate dosages. Recommendations include: online check in for drop ins (like at great clips), online pet pharmacy, kiosk Check out option!

I didn't have an appointment and my current (may not be my current any longer) turned me away, despite my cat not eating for 4 days. Clemmons Vet took me in and Dr. Pete was very thorough and transparent. I appreciate what they did for Max. I would highly recommend them.
