Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

The staff is always so warm and welcoming and extremely aware of my dogs needs. My dog is scared of the vet, he shakes when he arrives. the staff and veterinarians are amazing with him, they make sure my dog feels safe and loved while on his visit there. They make sure to get him in a room as quickly as possible. He gets all the cheese whiz he wants. We love Dr Duncan. He is responsive and very caring. My only complaint is their phone system. 🐶🩷

I appreciate that the animal hospital of North Asheville was able to fit my dog into their schedule for unexpected sutures. But they have 100% dropped the ball on communicating. Because I'm traveling, I needed some info on removing a wound drain and had a question on a panel test. I requested a follow-up phone call which never happened. So I called and spoke with the receptionist and she said that there was a note for a tech to call me and that I should expect a call. Still no phone call. I also tried their text info line multiple times (which is a good idea in theory but poor execution) and they said that a vet would get back to me with the info that I needed... This also never happened. This lack of communication follow through was stressful as I needed info in a timely manner to remove the wound drain in the proper timeframe. 7/14/23 Thanks for the reply. But I don't see why I need to call you one more time. How about you call me, show me that you can do it!

We recently moved to Asheville and this was our first visit. We were able to get an appointment the next day. The front desk staff and vet tech were very kind. The vet (Dr. W) was knowledgeable and conscientious of how and what we spent our money on. Left feeling like we were heard and received good care.

They saved my senior cat, Dr Frye and his team did a phenomenal work . They are very reasonable with the pricing , I couldn't t believe how kind their charge was but they assured me that it was the same for everyone . I had to ask them several times after a bad experience with cartel Emergency Z-. Heartless vet. If you want your pets to be treated they way they should be ,or if you are looking for competent ,compassionate team then bring your pets here .

I’m so grateful to have found my new family vet in AVL at The Animal Hospital of North Asheville! My Venus “luv-bug” is feeling much better because of the compassion and support of this wonderful team!! We had such a fantastic experience last night while trying to keep Venus calm and navigate what’s making my baby feel so ill. Thanks again to the wonderful staff: Dr Armstrong Emily Katelyn Taylor
