How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Eastside Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

switched from east side animal hospital because the vet there so very unfriendly. And she dont even interact with your pets or talk to them she seemed like she was in a hurry to get us out of her office. Not to mention thr receptionist wad very rude.. Tthe one they have now 11/19/20 is very friendly but the one prior to her screamed at me because my 10 month old cat was pregnant. I had health issues so I had to reschedule her spay procedure and the lady went off on me called me a bad petowner.

Professional, honest, and empathetic. My ailing 21 year-old cat was recently taken to them for observation. They were very direct but tactful about the severity of her condition and advanced age which allowed us to make an informed decision. We never felt pressured into euthanasia and they worked with us to keep the bill free of extra fees. The staff are very personable which helped immensely during the euthanasia process. My cat was handled with gentleness and dignity in her final moments. I didn't even feel ridiculous sobbing in public, they understood. We later received a beautiful card from the staff with a comforting message. If I ever get another pet, I'd trust the Eastside Animal Hospital to take care of them as they treated our cats excellently throughout their lives.

If I could leave 0 star I would. We called the emergency line while our dog was dying in our lap. They had the audacity to call us back a week later after our baby was dead and gone to let us know he had a check up appointment. Absolutely not. They will never be entrusted with our family members lives again.
