How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Broadus Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We brought in our extremely ill Australian Shepherd, June, and Dr. Riley administered emergency care for 24 hours. I have no doubt Dr. Riley saved June’s life. We are quite thankful and impressed with Dr. Riley!

Dr Lynne was amazing and so were staff members! I highly recommend!took a cat here for a second opinion and she gave me all the possible options and explained them in detail. I also had two kids under 3 with me,, one of which was a hyper 2yrs old and they were very nice, helpful and understanding.

Got my puppy in after hours right away. They called me and met me there within a half hour. This potentially saved him after he ingested ibuprofen. They know what they are doing here. They kept him over night, monitored him and provided supportive care until he was stable enough to go home. Couldn’t be more pleased with how they care for pets and animals.

The staff is always friendly and their pricing is very reasonable. We’ve had porcupine quills removed a couple times and annual check ups done here for a few years now. Whenever we have a dog get into a porcupine they’re able to squeeze them in. I’m not from Broadus nor do I live there so the first time I took my boyfriend’s dog in the ladies at check in where very confused because they recognize his dog and knew exactly who she belonged to but didn’t know who I was. To me that shows that they care a lot about their patients when they recognize them as soon as they walk through the door regardless of who’s bringing them in.
