How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Oxford Veterinary Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Friendliest most helpful vet I've been to! They really go out of their way to make my senior dog comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

We were visiting from out of town when our dog became seriously ill. Dr. Leflore was able to fit him into her busy schedule and saw him even though he wasn't a patient. We never felt rushed and she took the time to review his records from our vet at home. Her expert and knowledgable treatment stabilized him enough to get him back home. Her concern for our dog was evident but what was most appreciated was her care and concern for us as we navigated a difficult journey with our seriously ill pet. She offered both honesty and compassion, which is a difficult balance to strike. I highly recommend Dr. Leflore for her expertise and her compassionate bedside manner.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Leflore and her team. My son's dog had an injury which she believed to be spine related. She took so much time to explain what she thought it might be and gave us a great referral to our local vet specialist in Houston. Also, when we were visiting our son in Oxford in November, our little Yorkie was struggling with a collapsing trachea. She prescribed medications and supplements that our local vet never even mentioned and now she is almost symptom free. Seriously the most compassionate and knowledgable vet I have ever seen, with a warm and caring staff. We just wish she was located here in Houston!

This VET IS OUT TO MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE. One example is the ProHeart 12… She charges $151.25 and it’s $73 for the exact same weight and for 12 months at Willow Bend Vet, and many other vet offices. She takes advantage of caring for animals and ADDS EXTRA FEES and tries to MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE on the sick and well animals. If you go there, you’ll REGRET IT. DON’T GO!!!
