How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Fulton Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Our family dog Lucy has been going to this clinic for years. When we noticed she was having trouble chewing, we scheduled for a teeth cleaning. It was postponed 2 times because the 'machine' was busted. When we went in the third time (8 months later), they told us that it would be done manually.. because the 'machine was still busted. Then, when Lucy got into a scrap with a raccoon, we brought her in thinking she was bit. They examined her and said it was ringworm and treated it as such. Now Lucy is living in Indiana and saw her new vet (two months later). The examination of the non-healing ringworm turned out to be 5 tumors in her body (possibly cancerous, still testing)! Quite a different diagnosis indeed. Plus there's an abscess in her back teeth that was not addressed during her 'manual cleaning'. Knowing all this now, I would not entrust a 49 cent gold fish to this practice! If you love your pet... go elsewhere.

We took our boxer bulldog to the clinic for the doctor to examine and give his opinion on his medical condition. The doctor was very helpful in his explanation of the problem. Everyone in the clinic was very nice and friendly .

I have someone apply to adopt a dog and I called here to verify the client's information as a vet reference check. The person I spoke with was very nice and knowledgeable. Great service and phone skills. Over the years I've had many people recommend their Veterinary Clinic.

They were awesome with Ozzie this morning. They treat him just like he's one of their's. They are always so good with all animals even stray ones. I wouldn't use anyone else with my fur baby ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this vet they are always so good with both my dogs and the only vet that would actually take the time to find out what was actually wrong with my Boston terrier. They are so sweet. Thank you.
