How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Health Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I am so grateful for this place. My dog got out and was hit by a car while I was out of town. Someone graciously picked him up and took him to animal health center where the vet was able to save his life. Everyone there was very nice and loving to my dog and after being denied for care credit They were still able to help me.

I’m forever indebted to Mrs. Linda. She has gone above and beyond for us all while battling cancer. She is a true angel and truly cares for all of her patients. She definitely did NOT miss her calling.

Once I had a dog that got ran over, broke her pelvis and hip. First I took her to the other guy. He charged me $150 to X-ray her, and tell me she had to have her leg removed. I went to Dr. Farris for a second opinion. She told me the leg could be saved. When I went back to the other guy to retrieve the X-rays I was told I paid for them to take the X-rays, but not the X-rays themselves, and they wouldn't give them to me. That told me the other guy wasn't as interested in the well being of the dog, as he was the dollar. Dr. Farris managed to get the X-rays from him, and saved the dog's leg. When she healed, she didn't even have a limp. Later the dog became pregnant, and couldn't have the pups due to her pelvis. Dr. Farris preformed a C-section and saved the pups. I still have one of the pups 10 years later. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
