How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Washington Veterinary Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Not sure what's going on. My husband swore by them. Our dog had been several times over the past year plus. She kept injuring her front leg. We were told she's old, arthritis, give her an anti inflammatory pill. She'd be ok. Injure herself and limp again. And again. I understand misdiagnosis, however, no other tests were done. The last time, were told to make her rest her leg. Had a friend take her while on vacation. 2 days later, she had to be put down. Bone cancer. All through. While that was all kinds of awful, the response from the doctor's office was more awful. We called to ask not to send visit med reminders . The woman asked why. We said because she had cancer, you missed it. She had to be put down. The girl simply says ok. No sorry, no nothing. Again, nothing to do for cancer, but jeez a little compassion, maybe a little more testing to begin with. I'm still so disappointed. So dismayed by the lack of basic compassion.

I’ve been very happy taking my dogs to Dr. Stoltz. He is knowledgeable and answers any questions I have. I appreciate the hours of operation and they allow you to send pictures through email to answer questions without having to bring your pet in for an appointment, if it’s something minor. The staff is friendly and they are always sweet to my furbabies. Having graduated with a pre-vet BS degree myself, I feel confident in this veterinary office. Thank you!
