Took my dog in and was confirmed she had parvo. They gave me amoxicillin (which doesn’t help with parvo just other infections) and said she was gonna be fine instead of giving her an iv. My dog became lethargic and not able to walk. The woman I called a few hours before was very rude and told me that they couldn’t get me in and that it was pretty much my fault. My dog of 1 year passed away. If your dog needs any help at all don’t take them here. They will take the money that you have and then be rude after you’ve given them everything and they was wrong. Should be ashamed to call yourself vets.

I was camping at Flying W and Sunday night my horse was choking. Called the office and got the on call vet and she showed up within the hour. She showed up with everything at the ready to help my horse. She was able to clear the choke and explained everything she was doing. If it wasn’t for her I would have lost my horse. If I lived in this area I would highly recommend this animal vet center.

We are established clients and have brought SEVERAL animals in with emergencies and paid HUNDREDS of dollars to get them back up to par. Yesterday we lost our rescue lab, Duke. Came home and found him standing, with his back hunched and a hard and swollen tummy, in the yard with white foam on the ground around him. I immediately called Mid-Ozark and explained the symptoms and asked them if they would take him under an emergency basis since it was so late in the day. I was told they weren’t an emergency vet and to call Dr. O. I asked her when they stopped being an “emergency vet”? She put me on hold came back and told me Dr Ashley said to pull his food and water and let him rest his tummy and call back in the morning to get him seen. I expressed my concern that I didn’t think he would make it through the night. She didn’t seem to care. 4 hours later he was gone.
