How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Audrain Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Staff was very nice and kind to me and my dog but the surgeon did not feel comfortable fixing my dogs cherry eye unless we neutered him also. At the initial appointment they also asked about neutering him and I explained to them I was not interested as he is our stud dog for our female cocker. Will not return.

Prices are ok. My fur baby is old. Still runs around like a pup. Lost a couple teeth but still eats. Took him in about a cyst on butt. He maintains his normal weight. Last visit, you suggested putting him down. Glad I didn't take your advice. Just wow.

Took my puppy to get his first vaccines and our vet Lindsay was amazing! Couldn't ask for better. Clean, fast, and friendly!

Received call stating immunization requirements for my dog. When attempting to find out the cost, I was constantly interrupted by a young woman. I apologized for becoming frustrated. Shortly thereafter young woman stated she didn't appreciate being spoken to that way. As was trying to get a estimate again she continually interrupted me. Apparently apologies mean nothing but it's okay for them to disrespect you. Never did find out the information I needed to keep my dog healthy.

I'm new in town and had to take one of my dogs to the vet. I was impressed with the customer service here from my initial phone call to the visit. The staff and the vet took the time to listen and also to ask questions and explain their approach, which I really appreciated. It is a relief to know I have a great vet clinic available for my pack.
