How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Banfield Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I'm traveling (driving) so I called ahead and they were able to get my dog in the morning after my arrival. They had his records from him home Banfield, asked a few questions, and got him seen. Luckily he wasn't sick, just some allergies from new places, and he was good to go. :)

Top-notch care for my dog. Always compassionate for the furry companions that have been euthanized through the years. Banfield has given the best care to the many furry companions I've had for nearly 30 years. They really do treat my companions like they're family.

So I would normally give bansfield 5 stars, I have used then for many years. I just had my lifelong dog got to sleep and go to heaven with their help. I'm heartbroken. But just in case there are those not aware of their plans. Like the comprehensive wellness program. If the appointment and fee's are more than the cost of the plan itself, then you will be required to pay off the plan, even after your pet is gone. So don't be surprised, as I was when canceling your plan and you still owe. Thank you. I am grateful bansfield helped me and my dog. Thank you. She is in a better life now with a new body and with God. Bansfield really does do a great job.

Pay monthly for a wellness plan. And this is now the 3rd time something has happened to my dog and they are too busy and can't get her seen even though the dog is whining because something is wrong with her leg. All they say say is go to blue pearl. Yeah spend $500-1000. No thank you. Why have a wellness plan for a pet if they can't be seen for days? Looking for a new vet.
