How to Save on Veterinary Costs at West 72 Veterinary Services

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Had to wait 40 minutes outside when I had a scheduled appointment since their waiting room is about the size of bathroom. Vet wouldnt even examine my dog without sedation due to him jumping (excited). Would not recommend.

I just phoned the clinic to inquire about having our 3 kittens spayed/neutered and vaccinations. Not only was the receptionist rude to me, after starting to take my name, she told me they are not taking any new clients and then she hung up on me. I suppose you are not to ask about pricing before you make appointments. Thank goodness Fredericktown Animal Hospital was helpful. Not only was the receptionist friendly and answered everyone of my questions but she booked the females appointment and vaccinations for the males at the same time. I suppose the money I will spend over the life of my cats and any future pets is not important to this business. I've heard the receptionist will run off your business before you have a chance to make an impression and it is certainly true at this clinic. I pity the veterinarian who owns this business.

These guys are so good with my dogs. I drove from Chicago to bring my fur baby here to this particular vet. He saved my baby Kongi almost 10 years ago and I've been coming back ever since!
