How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Twin City Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Strickland was an amazing Veterinarian. We loved his compassion for animals. He kept everything simple, all while keeping our many pets healthy. He is truly missed. I hope he is dancing in Heaven with his wife. His staff ladies are just as amazing as he is. I'm sorry for your loss.

For the last 16yrs, Dr. Striklin took great care of all of my fur babies! Not only was he compassionate & caring with ALL of my animals, but the pricing was always fair, NEVER expensive like the majority of vet offices in Jefferson County! So sad to hear he has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was the BEST vet around Jeff Co and its gonna be hard to find another vet like him that I can trust w/my animals from now on. THANK YOU & RIP! 🥺😭 🌈 🌉

The best care there is in Jefferson County for your loved pets. They don't treat you like a customer, they treat you and your pets like family. They will laugh, cry and pray with you for your pet. Outstanding care towards the animals, unbeatable prices for the pet owners. They truly show love to each animal that sets a paw inside their doors and outside. Thank you to all the amazing staff!
