How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Hope Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Hope animal hospital is the reason my bunny was able to live as long as he did! His breed normally lives 6-8 years, he stayed with us for 12 years! He had lots of random health issues, especially as he got older, but Hope was always able to get us in, even in emergencies, and they were always kind and willing to help and listen. The really knew what they were doing. They honestly saved his life many times, and were the reason I was able to keep him happy and healthy even in his elderly years. They are the only vet I will take my bunnies to in the area!!!

Was very unhappy with two appointments out of the five or so we had. We took our rats here, one rat she had to be put down, she wasn’t given enough sedation before they gave her the shot that euthanizes. As the last shot has to be given into the heart and is extremely painful. She felt it all. The last appointment I took a 3 week old rat to them after rescuing and called in advance to make sure he could be treated without problem. They put flea and tick treatment on him and shortly after he died from it. During the check up, she propped his mouth open with a normal sized speculum/gag and he was screaming because she was being so extremely harsh with him, as well as not having a good handle on him and him flipping out of her hand. Each appointment costed $80-$200, I heard other people being charged extremely high amounts for their cats and dogs, I pay max $70 for shots and check up on our dogs an hour down the road. We took our rats here because it was the first vet we came across for our rats. We’ve since found a new vet. And that 3 week old rat should’ve never had any medications put on him. So watch closely and do you research and maybe get more than one opinion when it comes to an exotic baby.

I couldn't imagine taking my personal or classroom pets anywhere else. The staff at Hope are knowledgeable and kind. They go above and beyond to offer straight forward care. Their prices are fair and their service is second to none. 5 stars!

Hope Animal Hospital has been taking care of my pets (rabbits, ferrets, cats) for years and doing an excellent job of it! I recently moved farther from them, but I still make the trip to them for appointments because of their care and diligence. Their team is great and I can tell they love the animals they help every day!

I did indeed paid more than I wanted too. Than again, there's not many small animals that's around here so maybe that's why...they care for any animal here big to small. And my guinea pigs don't have mites anymore. They have great service so don't have to worry, your furbaby is in good hands. I like the how they decorate, and the welcoming whiteboard was a nice touch to the room too.
