My dog was sick and not eating. She was not wanting to do her usual activities. I called several places in town but found it hard to get a non emergency appt. I made a same day appt on Vetco's website. My dog was taken right back and the vet provided me with a price list of tests they could do and what she thought the problem might be. After doing a blood test it was found her white cell count was high. She was given a shot of antibiotics and fluids. My dog recovered nicely and is back to being frisky and loveable.

I had an appointment, but was there for over 90 minutes just to get a rabies vaccine and heartworm treatment for my dog. Then, I asked about heartworm yearly injections before the vet actually saw me. The vet said yes, come back in a month for that. They didn't tell me until later that I'd have to get another wellness exam for both dogs in a month, costing an extra $90 just to get the injectio. If they would have been upfront about this, I could have come back once they ordered the injection and done everything on the same day and avoided paying twice for an exam for both dogs.
