How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Smith Equine and Veterinary Services LLC

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We are new to area. We called another Vet to get our Molly a check up. They were not able to get us in but suggested we call Smith Equine and Vet. Services. My husband was very happy with the care Molly received. Molly is a Boston Terrier Dog. We will be calling again to bring our other pets to this Vet's office. We have owned horses in the past so we knew this Vet could also care for our dogs. Hope that makes sense?

Highly recommended. This is a lovely Veterinary clinic. It’s a little drive out in the country. And beautiful area . Excellent staff super nice people here. I was referred here by another veterinarian in another state.

I highly recommend Smith Veterinarian clinic! Won't use anyone else. We had to have 2 of our old dogs put down and he was very caring and patient! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

I switched my dogs over to Dr Smith a while back, but today, on a Saturday on a holiday weekend, he went above and beyond for my parents and I cannot tell him thank you enough! Hunter has easily become my #1 recommendation to people looking for a vet and I will be a customer for life!
