How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Vetco Vaccination Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

A year ago, we attempted the Parvo vaccine. The clinic was never held where we could get this shot in time and it would have been a never ending shot, always 2 weeks too late for the second. Corporate called and promised a refund. Never received. Again, we were made to feel ashamed because we couldn’t get this shot for her. We were promised it could be had in time, but I refused as I knew the next clinic was over 4 weeks away in the middle of August. I left feeling terrible as the vet insisted I MUST get this shot. She refused to listen to me. As a result, she treated my dog horribly, didn’t even weigh her to know what dose of rabies to give her. Worst vet I’ve ever seen, refuses to listen to us about the shot. Just wants to shove a shot into her that we could never finish. Very disappointed. We returned thinking last summer was just a fluke, but now, I know better. There is zero care at this particular store. Highly disappointed and made me feel terrible. She tried to say to get the first there and then get into a regular vet. Wouldn’t listen that that is months to get an appointment booked. She just kept insisting I was a terrible pet parent. Worst service I’ve ever received.

The vets are always great! I always recommend VetCo to my friends and family members. Can't wait to bring in the new pup for his next round of shots.
