Chafin Vet is amazing! We first took our dog Koda there with a ruptured ear hematoma back in October and with the long process of healing they made it so much easier without all the stress! Just took one our cats there and planning on taking our second soon. The staff there are always so friendly, they prioritize your pet like one of their own and make you feel welcome. Edit: Unfortunately, we've had to have several more visits. It's bad for the pup, but I just can't get over how wonderful this place is! We got to meet Dr. Mike today (1/11/25) and he was wonderful with my little guy who was in a ton of pain and doesn't usually like men! Very kind, caring and explained things well. Gave options and rationale for what we should and shouldn't do and why he was recommending the course of treatment and restrictions. We just switched a month ago from Lake Harriet Vet. So far I'm extremely pleased. Dr. Laurel was really kind and considerate and really listened to what was going on with my pup. She made some great suggestions and seemed really up to date on current meds and safe ways to help keep my pup from having any pain. The facility is very nice, 6 year old went with me for the dogs shot today and he said, "is it that fancy building?" He also had fun playing with the stethoscope and the vet jacket. He checked over our pup, and listened to his heart and tummy. Overall pleased with the care, the vet specifically and the facilities.

I started going to Chafin Vet Clinic in Nov ‘24, after adopting 3 kittens. Unfortunately we’ve had to make many trips to see Dr Laurel & Dr Mike as my kittens have had a variety of issues! But the upside is that I’ve gotten to see how awesome Dr Laurel, Dr Mike and their staff are! You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Their new facility is state of the art and beautifully designed. The staff is always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. And Dr Laurel and Dr Mike are so genuine, down to earth and caring, which is comforting when going thru a pet illness or even for routine preventative care. I’ve owned cats for over 40 years and have visited more than a few different clinics, and Chafin Vet Clinic is head and shoulders above any clinic I’ve been to before. I highly recommend this clinic!

I've been extremely pleased with the veterinary care our dog Leo has received at ChafinVet. Their clinic has been a welcome addition to our community since they opened in Apple Valley, MN. Dr. Laurel, Dr. Mike, and Staff have provided great care at appointments; and have always been there to answer questions between appointments, which has helped tremendously navigating through Leo's canine epilepsy. Leo is doing great now, as his epilepsy is being controlled via the right dosage of medication. Their genuine concern for all of the animals in their care is amazing. Their breadth of knowledge to provide care options is tremendous. Our family thanks you all. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about Chafin Vet! We have been so impressed with the care they provide our puppy. Everyone has been amazing to work with, but Dr. Mike especially goes above and beyond each visit. Their care is thorough and personalized and we feel very well informed. Their ability to see us same day when illness arises (which unfortunately has been pretty frequent) is so appreciated. Thank you, Chafin Vet!
