How to Save Money at PetVet Vaccination Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
Everyone was fabulous! They treated my Kody like he was their own. Very pleasant and attentive to him and to myself. Told me if there was any questions or anything they could do to let them know. Great place to take your animal too.

I’ve used Petvet a few times in White Lake at Tractor Supply for vaccinations. Never really had an issue. Until this time (7/2). Whoever was greeting people/directing people was NOT IT. First of all, her demeanor was really giving nothing but snark and I hate my job vibes. She was not even attempting to hide her face or attitude card. She was downright rude and disrespectful to several people that I witnessed, including myself. I approached the counter and immediately felt the tension rise. I was asked if I registered. I said yes. But I have a question. She was NOT pleased. I explained that my dog was one day past the window for his booster and wanted to make sure he could get it before I waited for a text for an hour or more. She grumpily went to ask the Vet and returned saying ‘it should be fine.’ Ok. Off we go to wait. Finally we get out text. A nice sweet last was trying to pick up her dogs prescription and this employee would not even talk to this woman and kept directing her to register. Unless this is policy, why would you make someone register then wait for a text to pick up a prescription rather than have a simple conversation?? She was also very grumpy with a family that had a shopping cart with them. She visibly huffed and puffed when they were trying to move the cart around the huge barrier with the sign on it to register. I moved the barrier to help the cart get through since she was too busy looking disgusted to be bothered to help. She treated everyone with nothing but attitude, disgusted faces, huffs, puffs, side eye, and eye rolling. Imagine how they portray high school girls in movies- that’s exactly it. I’m sure I’ll go back because it’s convenient for vaccines. But if you hate your job that much, please quit! Don’t bring down everyone else’s day with your poor attitude!

Made an appointment for my 11 week old Pomeranian for the DHPP, Lepto and Bordatella vaccine. Somehow we were charged for the “Puppy Visit 1” which we did not need and this was expressed to the vet- Dr Breana Kraut. My puppy was already being treated for parasite/tapeworm but they didn’t listen and re-dosed him anyways. He also didn’t get the Lepto or Bordatella vaccine that we needed. Walked out with a 100$ charge that we did not approve and my dog didn’t even get the vaccines that he needed. What a scam. Never will I come here again. GO TO A REAL VET next time.

I am on dog #3 using PetVet and I can honestly say each dog or puppy has been treated with care. They are very organized and quick. If additional information on your case, they take the time to do whatever is needed.

Affordable, efficient, and caring. We recently picked up 3 strays cats from the dirt road and took them here. We waited in line for about 45min which is nice and short compared to other affordable walk in clinics we've been to. We were there around 2 pm. The team was nice and professional. For this level of care at this price-point, we may start bringing our resident dogs and cats too. Thank you for existing!
