My dog, Hank, broke his tibia and fibula on Saturday. I was referred by my vet to this location. Within a day, I had an appointment for surgery the following morning. Nancy was respectful, prompt to reply, and empathetic. You can tell she genuinely cares. Kellie, our vet tech for the day, was amazing. She explained everything to me in terms I could understand. She eased any anxieties I had about surgery for my baby. She also helped me to get Hank in the car when we were all done. It was above and beyond! Dr. Baker took great care of Hank and explained the surgical procedure with confidence. He talked to me like I was a human which you don't always get. If I were to ever have an emergency or need surgery for Hank again, I would go here without a second thought.

We took our 17 year old cat in because of some concerning symptoms. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with compassion and respect. They took their time with our girl to thoroughly test her and even apologized for the wait which they definitely didn’t need to apologize for. The vet sat on the floor with me and my cat, and my skittish kitty who never approaches people went right to the doctor for loving. This tells me that even while they were putting in a catheter and giving her an ultrasound, they were super sweet with her and made her feel safe. We were informed kindly but honestly about her condition and we made the difficult decision to put our baby down. Every second we were there, the staff was compassionate and patient. They treated our sweet girl with dignity and love. It made a horrible night just a little more tolerable. Days later we received a handwritten sympathy card. I truly can’t speak more highly of this establishment. We are so grateful for the care we received, and though we had to say goodbye to our baby, the VCA made it so much easier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The most caring place I have ever been! During a traumatic experience, ALL Dr's, nurses, and clinicians, were patient and kind. We spent hours saying good bye to our fur baby, and were never rushed! All questions asked were answered in a timely manner.

We had to take our almost 13 year old dog Kendal to the Emergency Vet a week ago. We had no idea he was so sick that we had to make a decision to euthanize him that night. Everyone was so kind and compassionate to us and him. The folks there did not know us or him but we are so grateful. I only wish our own veterinarian practice(I will not name) had been so kind and loving to us and him. Thank you Emergency Vets

We had an unfortunate "popped her stitches" incident with our VERY LIVELY boxer on a Friday evening. Went to VCA in Kalamazoo and we couldn't be happier with the wonderful service. They were professional, friendly, caring and the doctors and staff did a fabulous job. We spend most time with Natosha and she couldn't have been better. So reassuring and patient with us. While waiting the staff continued to update us on our status which was very helpful. The facility was very clean and pleasant. They even had water/coffee/tea for those waiting. I hope it isn't necessary - but it is comforting to know they are around should anything happen in the future. Thought I'd share a photo our cute little nut Noodles. . . .
