How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Ore Creek Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We recommend EVERYONE here! The staff is wonderful, Dr. Gannon is the absolute best. They are always accommodating to our dogs. Ronan is fantastic and adores our one dog Bones and she absolutely adores him!! They are so great and patient with us as well!

Tried to call and make an appointment, and explain my situation. Immediately was rushed into a paid consultation appt. Day before. We had an emergency situation, Day of, in which we called over an hour before, to let them know (as soon as it happened). Immediately we were met with: YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THIS. Doesn't take a genius to see that you want the $ (More like $$$) without doing the work right. Especially with the amount of competition, just take your business elsewhere. I'm very reasonable and respectable as a person, and the way we were treated, I'm surprised I was offered car insurance at the time I made the appointment.

Best vet around. My doggos have been going there for seven years. I drive over an hour to take them, because the care they receive is top notch!

We have been going here for 2 years it was great at the start it’s gone down hill. I brought our Shepherd Mix in 5 years old who had been vomiting and had labs done showing some issues with her liver. Dr.Hines gave me a list of referrals for further testing that were months out my girl was suffering then. Gave her some antibiotics and told me I could take her home. No fluids to hydrate her btw or pain meds. I rushed her to MSU she was in pain and clinically dehydrated we decided the next day to let her go since she was in end stage liver disease. Very disappointed do not come here for anything other than routine problems with your animal. 🥹
