How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Alpine Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Kind and gentle vets and techs. My 2 dogs have been going there their whole lives and are not afraid to go. My older geriatric gal has had all her shots, 1 ER visit, stitches, and tooth surgery. My male is always well cared for there. I wholly recommend this vet. He is being treated for seizures and Dr.s Taylor & Lewis are so nice to us. I highly recommend them.

We just moved to the Gaylord area a week ago and had not found a new vet for our dog yet. Last night our dog cut her leg on some glass, and this morning AAH got us in right away and patched her up. They were super quick and friendly. Our dog was very stressed and they even let my husband go back while they fixed her up. It's safe to say we found our new vet!

Terrible, uncaring staff with no knowledge or compassion. Turned our emergency away with absolutely no help.

Alpine Animal Hospital has always treated my dogs like family. They have always been able to have our dogs looked at in a timely manner if an issue arises. Dr. Lewis is excellent at explaining everything and answering any questions that you have. Highly recommend AAH to anyone looking for a vet for their animals.

My situation was kinda emergent with my cat. They responded quickly and got us in, had him stapled in no time and back to me. He had to go back in two more times for his laceration as follow up and they were great!! His laceration has healed beautifully!!! Thank you so much to Dr. Lewis and staff!!!
