How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Charlevoix Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Moved to the area just a few short years ago. Our family has all rescue dogs and cats. We have tried a few vets in the area and CVH has been the best experience so far. Very knowledgeable! Very personable and accommodating. As you can see, the animals live as well as the humans around here. 😁It's very important to find the right heath care for them. Theo was the latest patient with her little pink cast.

In my 40 years of owning pets I have never experienced such an incredibly caring service as I have gotten in the amazing Charlevoix Vet Hospital. Dr. Lorie Degrazia and the amazing ladies in the office really touched our hearts with all the effort they did to help our cats transition to Hawaii. We recommend this hospital to anyone who loves their pets.

They did a fantastic job being helpful and efficient while maintaining Covid restrictions. The appointment was very quick, my cat got all of the help she needed and I was given a detailed report of how my kitty was doing. Her doctor was very friendly and informative. This veterinary hospital was recommended to me, and now I am passing along that recommendation.

We were in Charlevoix with our beloved old lab who had a serious critical issue. We had trouble finding a vet who could take us in on practically no notice, and the lovely people here came through and gave us the most living care possible. Based on the experience we as strangers received at a tough time on our first visit, I could not recommend them more highly. Great, caring staff!!!
