This is not just the best veterinarian in the area, but may be the best veterinarian I've ever experienced. They made me and my pet feel like a priority, getting me an emergency appointment when requested. As my senior cat developed a condition, Dr. Coughlan gave me his honest opinion. When the time to say goodbye came, he and his staff were so gracious and supportive, and made the process as easy as possible, letting me hold my treasure, and giving me the time that I needed to say goodbye. As I left for the first time without my cat, the assistant said "Don't worry. I'll take care of her." That simple sentiment was so comforting, and shows the heart that this place has for not just the pets but for those that love them.

I waited almost 2 years to get in but it was worth the wait. I posted the visit on my D&D Dog Treats Facebook page. I was told by another vet that there's nothing they can do for Daisy but All Pets found out why she's in pain and is starting to treat it. Thanks again!

My cat had issues over the weekend and I was able to get an appointment on that Monday for the Vet to see her. Dr. Coughlan was very informative, funny and caring as well as the Vet Tech. We appreciated the kindness towards our cat and we are thankful to have such a great Vet in St. Michaels. Thank you!!!

Dr. C and the entire staff have been outstanding every single time I have been there with my border collie mix. And let me tell you, I have been there so much. I drive two hours to see them they are absolutely the best around. Dr. C diagnosed my dog with a thyroid condition that 3 vets in DC missed. They are incredibly patient, with me and my 100’s of questions. Dr. C also caught a near fatal tumor before it had the possibility to spread and removed it. My dog has been cancer free for two years now. They really are the best at what they do.
