How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Northwest Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Crowley and his staff is magnificent! I've been taking my fur babies there for many years. My husky is about to have a procedure soon and the process so far has been easy.

Love this vet. All the staff is friendly. Dr. Taylor sees my Lady. Great place to keep your pet healthy. Lady is a rescue who is frightened by males. So Dr. Taylor is perfect bcuz she is so soft spoken. But Dr. Crowl (male) has had to examine Lady. Surprisingly, she was fine with him, too. He is quiet and gentle with her. The staff is excellent!!! Lady had an accident on the way to have her urine checked. She was a mess and I was so upset. Crystal and another young staff member was able to get enough urine for the exam, cleaned my Lady and her carrier, and calmed me down. I feel very comfortable knowing my Lady is cared for by people who care and love animals.

I took my cockapoo in for his rabies vaccine, and he received a 3 year vaccine at a reasonable cost. The visit occurred on time and that and the paperwork took only a few minutes. Staff was professional and courteous.

Our pets have been patients of NW animal hospital for over twenty years. Wonderful veterinarians with clinical experience and a compassionate, common sense approach to elderly animals and their treatment.
