My vet recommended Bowie Spay & Neuter and I would easily recommend them to other people. I took my dog and my friend’s dog here this past week and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, answered all my questions and everything was well organized. The facility is clean. My dog has had a smooth recovery five days in. I compared prices at several locations and found they had the most reasonable costs. Spaying included three days of pain medication. They’re transparent with their pricing and have a schedule of fees on their website along with commonly asked questions. They also return calls pretty quickly. I like how the stitches are dissolvable and don’t require follow up visit which saves me both time and money. Update: Let me be clear that the veterinary team did a great job with the procedure, but my dog's incision got infected through no fault of their own. I went back for a follow-up and they were able to see me within the hour. The vet was friendly, and went over the results and answered all my questions. The vet gave my dog a shot of antibiotics and her wound healed within the next week. You can tell the team is personable and cares. I appreciated that Rachel called me a few days later to check to make sure my dog was doing okay.

I honestly don’t write many reviews, but since I had such a great experience I felt the need to share. This place did such an excellent job on my puppy, her incision healed very well, and the type of sitching they did allowed the incision to heal without any follow up appointememts to remove the stitches or anything. From start to Finish they were really informative, punctual and attentive to all the questions I had before , during and after the procedure. The staff was friendly and professional as well. 5 star experience and I would highly recommend.

Great staff, they really have the process down. They took great care of my boy, no complications and he had an uneventful healing time. Can't recommend them enough!
