How to Save on Veterinary Costs at BluePearl Pet Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My experience is generally quite favorable. The vet techs at Blue Pearl are friendly, sympathetic and knowledgeable. Dr. Spielman is thorough and skilled. I believe she saved my dog’s life. (Rose had stopped eating and looked skeletal.). BluePearl was expensive because of the testing, about $4,500 for an endoscopy. But this is the price you pay (and are happy to pay) to bring your pet back to health.

The care is always first. class at Blue Pearl. They are kind and compassionate and I love that they deal with my Trupanion Insurance. It makes life so much easier when you are dealing with a sick animal.

My dog Charlie who is a 13 year old pit bull was sick for 5 days - things were coming out of both ends of him and he was not eating. Everyone at Blue Pearl was very kind and treated him really well. They gave me different T treatment options and I chose to have intravenous fluids along with anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds. Four hours later he was hungry, not throwing up and had no more diarrhea. I could not be happier with the care we received. The vet was great , as were the vet techs and those that checked us out. We had a great experience!

My dog got sick during my vacation with pneumonia and pancreatitis. He was really very sick and being away made things that much worse. Dr McGowan was great. She explained Everything so well, called us daily with frequent updates , checked everything so she didn’t miss anything and even sent pictures. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Blue Pearl.

Dr. Arango and his team did a spectacular job on my dog’s emergency surgery when the abscess ruptured. 48 hours after surgery my dog was in great spirits. This is the second English Bulldog Ive had stay here. First time was for ophthalmology and this time the abscess rupture. Both times they did a beautiful job on my dogs. Highly recommend! The ER Dr., Dr. Kathleen is absolutely fantastic as well. Thank you Blue Pearl!
