How to Save Money at Catmobile
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

My cat is my first feline companion and holds a special place in my heart. However, being new to work and on a tight budget, I opted for this clinic for her spaying procedure. Similar to others' experiences, I was informed on Friday that my original appointment was canceled. When I tried calling back, there was no answer, which left me quite anxious as my cat was already in heat. However, I received a callback from the staff on Sunday, managing to secure an alternative appointment, albeit at a farther location. The night before the surgery, I found myself reading previous reviews, feeling increasingly worried about the procedure. I even contemplated canceling the appointment for the next day. Yet, I also trusted my cat's overall good health and felt compelled to proceed, though I now realize it might not have been the wisest decision! It's crucial to assess your own cat's situation carefully. Today, I arrived ten minutes late due to traffic, feeling incredibly nervous and anxious. The staff, however, was incredibly kind and reassured me as she took my cat in for surgery. She informed me that I could pick her up in two hours. When I returned, she seemed quite weak. However, after getting home, she managed to eat a little and seems to be recovering well so far.

The cat Mobil was a great experience!!!! The only problem was booking an appointment because they fill up very fast and you have to literally be right on top of the schedule of when to book so you can get a appointment. We did have a appointment but the night before it was canceled unexpectedly without warning! After that cancellation they scheduled us for the next month and we had to arrive at 8:30am couldn’t be late, and it was an hour away. We got there at 8:05 they came to our car and took the car carrier around 8:20 and told us to be back at 1:30pm we got back about 1:15 and they came out to us and brought us back out neutered cat! No problems and answered our questions.

Catmobile is the greatest low-cost option to spade and neuter your cats in Massachusetts. I've used this service at least 15 times. Both for my own cats, and friends and family. I highly recommend this service and will use them again if the need arises.

I had a great experience and so did my cat! I did book the appointment, and it was canceled the day before, but they called me to rescheduled. I understand that they are a small organization, and I ended up saving a lot of money. I will be spaying and neutering my other kitties next year. Make sure you READ all the email they send you so you understand everything. This is a low cost option so you do need to buy your own cone/body suit for your cat. Upon dropping my cat off at 9am, they’re were cars already there so I parked behind them and followed the line. Picked up my cat at 1:30pm and she’s doing great! The email they send you post surgery is also informational. I did wish that was sent before the surgery though as this is my first cat and don’t know much. Thank you Catmobile!!!

We drove over 200 miles to access affordable spay services for my cat, who's life depended on this surgery. The Catmobile staff treated us with total and utter disrespect. They turned us away saying the consent had not been signed when in fact it was signed days in advance. So, we drove 200 miles with a sick cat screaming in the car and now have to find another option to get her the care she needs. They then tried to keep my funds, and I had to open a fraud claim with my bank to get my money back. The people you work with over the phone are kind but the Catmobile staff themselves are an outrage. Avoid if you can, however I know it is hard I am in this same position. Good luck!
