How to Save on Veterinary Costs at North County Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The vets and staff did one excellent job on my cats surgery and I received the best follow-up care. I highly recommend North County Veterinary Hospital.

Everything about North County Vet is great and that is why I continue to travel so far to continue Rocco’s services. Dr. Lindsey takes pride in what she does and I appreciate her time and efforts. It was great to have been a part of Rocco’s appointment for the first time since Covid so I think you made my experience the best it could be. Thank you!

We had to change vets unexpectedly and North County VH was happy to take us as a "temporary" patient. The staff was extremely helpful and Lindsey, our vet, was wonderful and very experienced. My dog Admiral had a happy trip!

I brought my kitten in to get neutered using a snip voucher. My kitten died in surgery. They gave me some excuse about something being wrong with his heart, but he had already had a much more invasive eye surgery a couple months ago and was fine. So here's what I think really happened; you guys had too many cats to get neutered in one day, so you guesstimate the anesthesia dosages to speed things up. You literally overdosed my kitten. I know you won't admit to it. But hopefully someone on your staff sees this and takes a little more time and care with peoples pets. Even when you're busy.
